Bhiwadi: The Fast Emerging Residential destination.

1.      Bhiwadi comes under Delhi NCR region and it is an industrial hub.

2.      The town is spread over nearly 5,300 acres and houses around 2,700 big, medium and small scale industries. Rajasthan has made rapid strides in spreading education across the state. The state wide literacy rate has gone up to 61 per cent in 2001 from 38 per cent in 1991.

·         Somani Worsted Limited :

They will be developing an IT/ ITES Special Economic Zone, which will be named as 'Silicon City', and will be developed on 50 acres
with a total investment of approximately Rs 700 crore in the first phase. The Silicon City is expected to generate direct employment for about 50000(fifty thousand) in the IT sector and approximately 200000 (two lakhs) indirect jobs in Bhiwadi ,Rajasthan.

·         Honda Siel Cars India Limited & Honda Scooter Plant:

The expansion of the Honda factory has seen an increase in its workforce from 1,000 employees to 7,000 employees, which has prompted developers to create more housing in this area.

·         Orient Craft Limited:  

 one of the largest garment export houses in India, has established its ‘Flagship Integrated Apparel Manufacturing Campus’ at Pathredi in Bhiwadi, targeting a business of Rs. 10000 crore by 2014. Orient Craft has been working with some of the most renowned fashion designers, brands and retailers like Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Dillards, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marks & Spencer, Marc Jacobs and many others. The project is expected to cost around Rs. 400 crore in the first phase and is likely to employ 2000   employees to  12000 employees. This is the first integrated apparel & textile manufacturing facility of its kind in India

·         Saint Gobain Glass India Limited:

Saint-Gobain Glass India said it would invest Rs 1,000 crore for setting up a 'new world glass complex' at Bhiwadi. Saint-Gobain Glass India Managing Director-President (Flat Glass, South Asia) B Santhanam said, "The first phase of the complex will hold a capacity to manufacture over 3,00,000 tonnes per year of float glass. This will make it one of the world's largest float glass plants." As a Saint-Gobain Group, the company has set a target in the total sales of Rs 5,000 crore by 2013, he said.

·         Jaquar Limited:

India's largest manufacturer and exporter of bath fittings, Jaquar Limited, has also  set up a new, state-of-the-art plant in 12 acres at Chopanki for manufacturing concealed cisterns (a joint venture with a Monaco-based company), shower enclosures (a joint venture with a German company) and whirlpool systems (a joint venture with an Italian company). The new manufacturing unit with an estimated investment of Rs 70 crore in the first phase will provide employment to about 1000 people.

·         Several other industries like of steel, furnace, electronics, engineering , textiles, pharmaceuticals, printing, cables, rolling mills, food processing , herbal care units, etc.

4.      Bhiwadi is only a few kilometres away from Manesar, an established industrial and real estate hub adjoining Gurgaon, which has brought the attention of investors and buyers on this bustling township.

5.      Bhiwadi is a typical Tier II city and gives value for money to the investors and the buyers alike. Newly-constructed apartments here are generating a lot of buzz, as they offer multiple options to the middle class people.

6.      The road has the status of a national highway, called NH-71 B. Developers like Avalon , Nemai, Terra City, M2K, Cosmos, Essentia, Omaxe, Kajaria , and Krish have projects on Bhiwadi-Alwar Road, on both sides of the Tapukara Industrial Area.

9.      Infact, a Bangalore-based VBHC entered the north Indian market with a township in Bhiwadi. "Nowadays, people are inclined towards industrial areas such as Bhiwadi due to the fast pace of price rise. Our assessment suggested that Bhiwadi would be the preferred location for investors.

10. The DMIC project aims to create new industrial centres in seven states-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra-through better rail and road connectivity. It is aligned with a proposed rail freight corridor between Delhi and Mumbai. In this year's Union Budget, the government has expressed willingness to provide additional funds for the project. The first phase is slated for completion in 2018.
